Today I was visiting a vacant property and decided I would wash some light fixtures and replace a couple of burnt out bulbs. The seller is away and no showings were booked in this -37 weather. Who knew there would be so many different types of bulbs and colors of cool and warm light. I made a trip to the store and was overwhelmed with choice! And don't get me started on the descriptive language of various watts and lumens. I spent the better part of the morning sorting through each fixture and was happy to see the difference a few bulbs and clean light fixtures made to the property. My advice to sellers, get your home fixtures sparkling clean and bulbs all glowing with the same color of light before you list. Although a small thing in the preparation to sell it can really make a difference. Show your home to buyers in the best light possible!
